Sorry I didn’t blog yesterday. There have been some happenings around here that have really taken me and my family by surprise. I’m not going into detail, but basically a dark cloud that has been there all my life is now gone. In knitterly news, I cast on for the January pattern today, and so far [...] I cast on a new project today. Some of you who know my knitting portfolio might be able to guess exactly what it is already.
Today I woke up sharp at 10pm. My little sister (Katie: 8 ) wanted to watch me play this video game, so I played it pretty much from when I woke up until about 5pm or so. My Mom and I were going to take the bus to Zellers because they had a super awesome [...] I didn’t knit today. At all. I woke up at 2:30pm after sleeping for almost 17 hours straight and then I went shopping. My Mom had to go to Wal Mart so we went there, and then to PetSmart to get Annabel some food. We then went to the dollar store, where Annable and Pearl [...] I don’t really enjoy doing housework. I try to avoid it at all costs, or I try to make Dave do it. It really isn’t any fun at all, but it is what I’m doing right now (I’m taking a blog break) Our bedroom is a disaster, I mean really it’s completely insane in there right [...] It’s all I’ve been doing lately! Gloves here and gloves there. Gloves everywhere! I finished the Malabrigo Cognac gloves, and they are sooooper warm! Therefore… I already have a name for the pattern. I shall call them Warmeez! I should have the pattern ready to go up some time next month, but I do have [...] Malabrigo is my favourite yarn. It’s pretty new to my stash, but I hope that the Knit Picks isn’t getting jealous. I have been knitting with it a lot lately and I’m currently working on the pair of fingerless gloves I talked about in the last post. Last night I came pretty close to finishing, [...] The first of my 3 skeins of Cognac has already told me what it wants to be, and it’s fingerless gloves. I’m about to cast on, but was so delighted that I had to tell blogland first. It’s going to be a design that will be eventually released on Ravelry for download. Since it’s worsted [...] December Snowfall has not even finished the testing stage yet (and it won’t for 9 whole days) but I’m already in design mode for my next pattern. I’ve chosen the yarn, but have not yet come up with the design. I know sort of how I want it to look, but haven’t quite planned it [...] The mail came today, and what it brought to me is ten kinds of awesome! I got Mmmmmalabrigo! It’s from Sidney on Ravelry. The color is Cognac, and it’s a beautiful warm brown color. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with it yet, but I might design some worsted weight fingerless gloves. I [...] |
