The first of my 3 skeins of Cognac has already told me what it wants to be, and it’s fingerless gloves. I’m about to cast on, but was so delighted that I had to tell blogland first. It’s going to be a design that will be eventually released on Ravelry for download. Since it’s worsted weight, it isn’t going to take me very long at all to knit it up and work out the pattern. The idea is down in Notepad, and all that’s left for my little hands to do is knit it! The needles are out and primed, the yarn has been wound into a ball, and I’m ready to rock!
This little mini-design project doesn’t mean the end of the colourwork design that’s already in the works. This is just a little quickie before I dive right in on the crazy colourwork I have planned. So yes… that means I’m going to break my pattern a month goal, and come out with two patterns in a month. This will likely be in December. I’ll consider it my Xmas bonus.
