It’s been so crazy around here lately that I didn’t even get a chance to get the pictures I took on Xmas off my camera until today. Without further ado, here are some pictures of my youngest sister opening her presents, and a few of the dogs with their presents! I didn’t think I’d be that busy this holiday season, but I ended up being so busy that I neglected my blog, and also my knitting in the process. There were family get-togethers, lots of food, presents to buy, and you know… everything that [...] I woke up at 2pm today and I haven’t done much since. Sure I cooked supper and made a few pots of coffee, but I’m taking a me day. I’m not doing any chores, I’m not taking any pictures, and I’m not dealing with anything stressful. I’m not even wearing a bra. I had a [...] There is no day more special than a day when you get yarn in the mail. This was true for me today. I had made a trade with Tracy a while back for some delicious Malabrigo. I got the Coco a couple weeks ago, and today I got the Marron Oscuro. Behold! I got more bird [...] I finally got off my arse and took some photos of the new stitch markers I made the other day. I quite like the little buddha ones and the little yarn ball ones. Heck, I pretty much like all of them! They will be put up in the shop this Thursday or Friday so if [...] I know. I’m Canadian and I should be used to it. I’m not. Every year when the temperatures start falling for winter, it still surprises me how cold it gets out there! Last night we hit some staggering lows throughout the day of -49 C (-56.2 F) with the windchill. This morning we hit -51 [...] I got a lot accomplished today. I woke up at around 9:30am and didnt even have a chance to drink some morning coffee before we were out the door. Took my Mom shopping to Wal Mart, Michaels, PetSmart, and the local mall in order to finish her Xmas shopping. She even got a present for [...] I finally have something to show you as far as my next pattern is concerned. I’m still not sure on a name but I’m open to suggestions as long as the name has January in it, in order to continue with the monthly theme. I knit like crazy, and pondered last night and I came [...] It took 45 minutes to trim Annabels nails yesterday. As you can see, I am blogging so she didn’t eat me, but came close a few times. Nail trimming with this dog is completely ridiculous and yesterday was no exception. We had to pin her down while she writhed and barked and snarled and basically [...] |
