I finally have something to show you as far as my next pattern is concerned. I’m still not sure on a name but I’m open to suggestions as long as the name has January in it, in order to continue with the monthly theme. I knit like crazy, and pondered last night and I came [...] It took 45 minutes to trim Annabels nails yesterday. As you can see, I am blogging so she didn’t eat me, but came close a few times. Nail trimming with this dog is completely ridiculous and yesterday was no exception. We had to pin her down while she writhed and barked and snarled and basically [...] Today is a special day. It is the first day of my Warmeez! pattern being out in the wild. There comes a day in every pattern’s life when it’s creator just needs to let it leave the nest. Today is that day for Warmeez. It’s up on Ravelry here, and it’s up on my shop [...] Good day! It’s December 1st, and right on time comes December Snowfall! My newest pattern, now listed on Ravelry for $4.50, and I will be listing it on the blog-store shortly (once I’m done this post). Special thank you goes out to the 9 wonderful testers that worked hard to help perfect the pattern, and [...] It’s all I’ve been doing lately! Gloves here and gloves there. Gloves everywhere! I finished the Malabrigo Cognac gloves, and they are sooooper warm! Therefore… I already have a name for the pattern. I shall call them Warmeez! I should have the pattern ready to go up some time next month, but I do have [...] Malabrigo is my favourite yarn. It’s pretty new to my stash, but I hope that the Knit Picks isn’t getting jealous. I have been knitting with it a lot lately and I’m currently working on the pair of fingerless gloves I talked about in the last post. Last night I came pretty close to finishing, [...] The first of my 3 skeins of Cognac has already told me what it wants to be, and it’s fingerless gloves. I’m about to cast on, but was so delighted that I had to tell blogland first. It’s going to be a design that will be eventually released on Ravelry for download. Since it’s worsted [...] December Snowfall has not even finished the testing stage yet (and it won’t for 9 whole days) but I’m already in design mode for my next pattern. I’ve chosen the yarn, but have not yet come up with the design. I know sort of how I want it to look, but haven’t quite planned it [...] I definitely forgot to post yesterday. But! I’m posting twice today to make up for it, so yay me! I’ve been addicted to this new video game that came out, Assassins Creed 2, and it’s sweet. That is all. Anyways!
